Our cabinets are built by The Cabinet Authority, part of the same family of companies as The Home Authority, Inc. We design, build, finish and install the cabinetry for our own remodels.

Stock cabinets come in set sizes and finishes, and gaps are filled with filler strips. Custom cabinets are built to your exact measurements, with storage, wood, door style and finish chosen for your home. Stock can be a good fit for tight budgets or rentals; custom is built for homes you plan to stay in.
Are custom cabinets worth it?
If you plan to stay in your home, custom cabinets use every inch of your space, include the storage you actually need and are built to last. They also make odd spaces like sloped ceilings, soffits and angled walls usable.
Can I refinish my cabinets and add new custom pieces?
Yes. If your existing cabinet boxes are solid, The Coatings Authority can refinish them while The Cabinet Authority builds new doors and drawer fronts or new pieces like an island, pantry or uppers to the ceiling, finished to match or contrast.
What storage options are available?
Pull-out spice racks, tray dividers, deep roll-outs, tilt-out hampers, hidden outlets, lockers and benches, closet systems, entertainment centers with hidden wiring, garage cabinets and more, all designed into your cabinets from the start.
What woods, door styles and finishes can I choose?

Yes. When cabinets are part of your Home Authority remodel, they are designed with Studio A and included in your one fixed price before construction begins.

Cabinet timing is part of your overall remodel schedule. Because The Cabinet Authority builds for our own remodels, cabinet build time is planned into your project timeline before construction begins.
Do you sell custom cabinets on their own?
No. The Cabinet Authority builds cabinets for Home Authority remodels, so your cabinets are designed with Studio A, built, finished and installed as part of your remodel and your one fixed price.
What warranty comes with your custom cabinets?
Your cabinets are covered under The Home Authority, Inc. warranty along with the rest of your remodel, so there is one team and one warranty to call.
