The project story
How this project came together
- 1
The challenge
Dark cherry cabinets, a dark floor and a small island made this kitchen feel heavy and cramped. The homeowners wanted a lighter, more functional kitchen that still felt warm and true to their rustic style.

What we did
Studio A designed a two-tone look that pairs natural wood upper cabinets and pantry with charcoal blue lower cabinets and a larger island with seating. We added a tall pantry with pull-out shelves, a built-in microwave, white granite-look countertops with warm veining, a light tile backsplash, rustic glass pendant lighting and warm wood-look flooring throughout.

The result
A kitchen that keeps its rustic soul but feels brighter, more open and easier to cook in every day. It was designed by Studio A and built for one fixed price.
