The project story
How this project came together
- 1
The challenge
Worn carpet, wallpaper borders and mismatched paint made the townhome feel dated and hard to rent. The owners wanted a clean, durable update with a neutral yet inviting palette that would appeal to a wide range of renters.

What we did
We replaced the flooring with gray wood-look plank throughout the main living areas and stairs, removed the wallpaper and painted the walls a soft gray with crisp white trim. In the kitchen, we installed wood-tone cabinetry with stainless appliances, light countertops and a textured gray subway tile backsplash. Studio A chose white shaker vanities with long brushed-nickel pulls for the bathrooms, along with new mirrors, lighting and a tiled shower with a handheld shower head. The living room fireplace, bedrooms and closets were refreshed to match.

The result
A bright, move-in-ready townhome with a neutral palette that feels welcoming to renters and holds up to everyday living.
